Bidders should visit the location and submit any questions to the Contracting Officer via a Request for Information (RFI). The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for installing approximately 21,000.00 linear feet of 6-inch PVC 900 of gravity sewer service laterals with assemblies; 600 sanitary sewer clean-outs as shown on maps. It also includes furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supplies necessary for video survey/recording (CCTV) the existing gravity main before installation of the laterals to demonstrate the condition of the main and after the installation of the laterals to proof of successfully connection; mobilization and demobilization; making cut or install saddle tee fastened to connect to the existing gravity sewer main; the work also include maintain sewage flow during construction by Contractor's mean and method require using vacuum track, tanker truck, fixed axle tank, or bypass pumping intercept the laterals or plugging and monitoring flow. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Estimated Range of the Base Bid - $13,122,500.00 to $15,877,500.00, not including contingency and dedicated allowances. Project Duration: 680 calendar days to substantial completion, 720 days to final completion, plus a 72-day contingency allowance This contract has Small Business Enterprise (SBE) goals as follows: Construction 16.34%, Goods 12.60%, Services 0%. Goals are based on the construction estimate plus the 10% Contingency Allowance. This contract has a 10.00% Community Workforce Program goal. The Bid Proposal must be accompanied by a bid security in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid. The successful contractor must execute a one hundred (100%) Surety Performance and Payment Bonds. NO BIDDER MAY WITHDRAW HIS BID WITHIN 120 DAYS FROM BID OPENING DATE. The Board of County Commissioners, Miami-Dade County, Florida, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in any bid or to re-advertise for bids. Bids from any person, firm or Corporation in default on other contracts or agreements with the County may be rejected. Failure by the Bidder to satisfy claims on previous contracts with the County may be cause for rejection of his bid. The County reserves the right to postpone or cancel the bid opening at any time prior to the scheduled opening of bids.
