Proposals for the New Fire Station 43 located in the vicinity of 13624 Walsh Avenue in Fort Worth Texas will be received After evaluating the Proposals submitted, the City shall select the Offeror that offers the Best Value to the City and enter into negotiations with that Offeror. The City may discuss with the selected Offeror options for a scope or time modification and any price change associated with such modification. The last day for questions from prospective Offerors is at 5:00 PM on Friday, May 5, 2023. The offers will be valid for ONE HUNDRED TWENTY (120) calendar days. The Offeror will add a 7.5% Owner's Contingency Allowance on a separate line item on the Proposal form and only the Owner will approve the use of this allowance during construction. Any Allowance remaining at the end of construction will be retained by the City of Fort Worth. This Allowance is not to be included in the Base Proposal and will not be used in the Best Value selection process. The Business Equity participation will be evaluated in awarding this Contract. The Business Equity goal is 17%. Offerors shall obtain a receipt from the appropriate department as evidence that the City received the documentation.
