This project will replace the existing sewer line which runs through the A, B and C wings of the Philbrook building. The sewer line currently runs under the slab in the building and has sagged over time, which has caused maintenance issues. This project will replace the existing sewer lines by constructing new lines from the building to a main line outside, and ultimately reconnecting to the City's sewer system. The Project will include the Discipline(s) of: Site Construction, Concrete, Mechanical and Electrical. In order to be authorized to bid, the Department's Request for Proposal (RFP) form must be submitted to the Contract Office of the Department of Transportation. Once the RFP has been approved, the Contractor is authorized to bid. At this time, the password card will be issued allowing the Contractor access to the online bidding documents, including Plans and Specifications. Checks are to be made payable to "Treasurer, State of New Hampshire". Send check with project name and number to NH Department of Transportation, c/o Finance & Contracts, P.O. Box 483, Concord, NH 03302-0483. Companies, corporations or trade names, except sole proprietorships must be registered with the Secretary of State (Corporate Division, Telephone No. 603/271-3244) in order to do business with the State of New Hampshire. Bidders are advised that final bid award, as approved by Governor and Executive Council, and issuance of a notification to proceed with the work, can occur up to 60 days or more after the bid opening date. Per section 00204.18.2, Low Bidder has 20 days after notice of award to submit signed Contract, Certificate of Insurance, and Disadvantage Business Enterprise forms, if required. The right is reserved to waive any informalities in or to reject any or all proposals.
