Site work, paving, outdoor lighting and remodeling of a mixed-use development in Kingsville, Texas. Completed plans call for the remodel of a military facility; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for outdoor lighting for a military facility; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Remodel building 4706 Child Development Center interior pre-school Rooms 105 & 106 (approx. 747 SQ Ft. & 130 LF.), Toddler Rooms 118 &120 (approx. 846 SQ Ft. & 120 LF.), Pre-toddler rooms 123 & 125 (approx. 719 SQ Ft. & 110 LF.), Infant rooms 110 & 111 (approx. 399 SQ Ft. & 100 LF.), the general area (front desk & hallways), kitchen room 128. Replace the Truck Maintenance POL Canopy at NASK-DLA building 5727. Remove dispose provide & install approx. 16 galvanized steel roof purlins approximately (40 ft. long x 9" wide x 3" wide.) Remove, dispose, provide & install 1/12 pitch aluminum roof, approx. 3270 sq. ft.(70' long X 40' wide). Install all hardware fasteners, include all weather stripping for water tightness. Remover, dispose, provide & install building identification sign. Remove, dispose, provide & install approx. 300' of electrical conduit, electrical wire and 8 lights, lighting system needs replaced with LED explosion proof lights. Provide approx. 2 grounding points reading & stencil reading on pillars. Provide & install metal protection where dissimilar metals contact each other.... The expectation is that you will provide all supervision, transportation, labor, materials to accomplish the Project Objective(s). You are requested to provide a proposal for this scope of work that, at a minimum, will include a detailed breakdown sufficient to permit a comprehensive review and evaluation of all labor, materials, and equipment costs. The government will accept Preproposal Inquires for this project until close of business on April 27, 2023. Submission of inquires after this time will not be answered. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation and management necessary to accomplish the project complete in every detail and ready for its intended use. Report any unforeseen findings to the attention of the Construction Manager (CM) and Construction Engineering Technician (ET) assigned to the project. Contracting Officer Representative (COR): The individual designated by the Contracting Officer as the authorized representative of the Contracting Officer. The COR will be the CM, ET, and/or PAR assigned to the project. Materials mentioned herein shall be the same or equal to specified manufacturer and or in quality. Contractor shall verify provide design, procurement, demolition, construction, and installation services. 1.2. Project work is at the Naval Air Station located in Kingsville, Texas (NASK) Child Development Center. Reference Attachments for NASK B-4706 Location and layout. Coordinate with the COR for the work site's access. 1.3. "Provide" shall mean to furnish and install new, complete in every detail, and ready for its intended use. 1.4. For project bidding, procurement, installation, and construction purposes, field verify all project information provided by the Government and any additional information that shall be necessary to complete the project. 1.5. Field verify the existing conditions. As necessary, locate all utilities, including communications cabling. 1.6. Material and equipment laydown area shall be coordinated with the COR. 1.7. Unloading and loading protocols for material and equipment shall be observed and coordinate with the COR. 1.8. Project work shall not interfere with the NASK operations. Coordinate all utility outages in advance with the COR. 2. SCOPE OF WORK: Reference Enclosures and Applicable Reference Documents for details of the scope of work. o PRE-SCHOOL RM 105, RM 106; approx. 747sq ft. and 130LF. ENCLOSURE 2, Green Room. (FC 4-740-14N, 2-4.4 Child Activity Rooms), (FC 4-740-14N, Table 4-10) apply. Contractor to provide and paint room, remove, dispose, provide and install new cabinets, provide and install new cabinet base with sinks to include connections and plumbing fixtures, and to remodel bathroom walls, and replace mirrors. 2.1 Contractor to remove, dispose, provide and install cubbies storage holes, kids sinks, bathroom partition walls within room, and any unsafe conditions for toddlers safety, to make classroom ready for paint and remodeled. 2.2 Contractor to remove, dispose, provide and install drywall behind kid's toilet up to 4ft. 2.3 Contractor to provide and install waterproof backsplash behind toilet. 2.4 Contractor to remove, dispose, provide and install bathroom portion and paint bathroom wall, Contractor to utilize existing swinging gate (repainted) to be reinstall, according to existing height. 2.5 Contractor to provide, patch, seal, primer all sheet rock to make ready to be painted. Contactor to provide and paint walls utilizing same color scheme for rooms as before. NOTE: Different colors for different rooms. 2.6 Contractor to remove, dispose, provide and install approximately 130Lf. of 6" vinyl cove base to match existing color. 2.7 Contractor to remove, dispose, provide and install floor tile that are mix match in color. (ONLY) Tile to be all white in color. 2.8 Contractor to strip, seal and wax vinyl tile floor, approximately 747sf. 2.9 Contractor to provide and install new cabinet base, sinks with proper connections in both lavatories, with proper size and height to meet all applicable codes and standards. Specially furnishings that do not have, sharp corners or edges, will not splinter, do not have toxic surfaces, and cannot be tip over. 2.10 Contractor to Provide and install cubbies compartments per (FC 4-740-14N, Table 4-10) PRE-SCHOOL 2.11 Contractor to make rooms ready after remodel for occupancy. 2.12 Contractor to notify KO, ET, CM and Director upon completing before commencing to next classroom. o Toddler Room RM 118, RM 120, approx. 846 SQ Ft. and 120 LF. ENCLOSURE 3, Blue Room, (FC 4-740-14N, 2-4.4 Child Activity Rooms), (FC 4-740-14N, Table 4-10) apply. Contractor to provide and paint room, remove, dispose, provide and install new cabinets, provide and install new cabinet base with sinks to include connections and plumbing fixtures, and to remodel bathroom walls, and replace mirrors. 2.13 Contractor to remove, dispose, provide and install cubbies storage holes, kids sinks, bathroom partition walls within room, and any unsafe conditions for toddlers safety, to make classroom ready for paint and remodeled. 2.14 Contractor to remove, dispose, provide and install sheetrock behind kid's toilet up to 4ft., taped and float with waterproof backsplash in both bath rooms, contractor to provide and paint both bathrooms, and utilize existing swinging gate (repainted) to be reinstalled, according to existing height. 2.15 Contractor to remove, dispose, provide and install cabinet base, sinks with proper connections in both lavatories, with proper size and height to meet all applicable codes and standards.
