Site work and outdoor lighting for a transportation facility in Talkeetna, Alaska. Design plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for outdoor lighting for a transportation facility.

As of November 10, 2023, an engineer has been selected for the project. A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Contractor shall provide professional services for the concurrent design of lighting improvements at the Talkeetna and Chenega Bay airports, including complete two (2) bidready sets of Plans, Specifications, and Estimate (PS&E). Services shall also include Assistance during Bidding, Design Closeout Documentation, and Assistance during Construction. A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package. Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately June 2023 to December 2025. Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the range of $250,000 to $500,000. The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available April 21, 2023.Individuals with disabilities, including the hearing impaired, who may need auxiliary aids, services, and/or special modifications to submit a proposal should contact the TTD number:(907) 269-0473, no later than one week prior to the submittal date to make any necessary arrangements. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
