The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and supplies as required to install 8' wide asphalt pavement walking path per attached google map and these specifications. Excavate surface grass and dirt to a depth of 6". Clip and compact subgrade. Apply 4" pugmill base stone and 2" asphalt topping (E Mid). Spoils to be left on-site. Any backfilling or seeding to be the Owner's responsibility. Use of tobacco products are strictly prohibited on all city facilities (both inside and outside). Use of inappropriate, excessively loud, or vulgar language, gestures, or actions shall be prohibited by the contractor, subcontractor or their employees. GUARANTEE: Project (work and materials) shall be guaranteed by the Contractor for a period of one (1) year minimum. LICENSES, FEES, PERMITS The Contractor is responsible for furnishing the proper licenses, fees, and permits required by law to do business in the City of Johnson City in completion of the requirements stated herein. All work shall be done in accordance with the latest building codes, state and federal laws relative to this project. INSURANCE The attached Insurance Checklist (which includes a section for the Insurance agent to fill-out) and General Contract Form shall be completed and returned with the bid package. Successful vendor shall provide certificate of insurance, as specified, prior to contract release by Purchasing. DRUG FREE WORKPLACE All Contractors must execute the enclosed Drug Free Workplace Affidavit to verify compliance with TCA 50-9-113 and return same with quote response. Failure to comply with this requirement will declare that quote non-responsive.
