Demolition and renovation of a water / sewer project in Tallahassee, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for the demolition of a water / sewer project.

The first project consists of central energy plant improvements at the Doyle Conner Complex. The scope of work includes selective demolition and replacement of cooling towers, primary and secondary pumps, boilers and pumps, hydronic devices, rooftop exhaust fan, controls, building automation system integration, HVAC associated plumbing and electrical systems modifications; the provision of a rental chiller for duration of chiller outage as required; construction of a new chemical shed for water treatment system; and provide support and participation in systems commissioning efforts. The second project includes demolition and replacement of the existing air cooled chiller with primary pump, adjacent to the central energy plant at the Doyle Conner Complex; receive and install new Owner provided chiller; expand concrete foundation for new chiller; insulate new chilled water piping; and provide controls integration, test and balance certification, and commissioning support. The Construction Manager will be required to comply with all federal requirements outlined in the contract documents, as each project is federally funded. Experience with central energy plant improvements and chiller replacements is preferred.
