Currently the City of Arlington has a total of approximately 107 plants. The awarded vendor needs to come every other Wednesday (26 times a year) to water and service all 107 plants. There are 97 plants at City Hall and 10 plants at the Municipal Office Tower. These numbers are an approximate and can/will change throughout the scope of the contract. The guaranteed maintenance needs to cover watering, fertilizing (at scheduled times), and spraying plants (when necessary). Any plants that are not satisfactory to the expectations of the City of Arlington will need to be replaced at a discounted price. The contract administrator will have the final decision on what plants need to be replaced. The intent of this solicitation is to establish an annual requirements contract to provide Interior Plant Maintenance for the City of Arlington's City Hall building and Municipal Tower Building. The City of Arlington strongly encourages bidders to submit their response to this bid electronically. If submitting a paper bid, it must be submitted in a sealed envelope or package and labeled with the company name, solicitation number and title. Late bids will not be accepted. The City of Arlington exclusively uses IonWave for the notification and dissemination of all solicitations.
