The Dallas County Hospital District dba Parkland Health (Parkland) is currently accepting bids from roofing contractors for the replacement of a warehouse roof. Please note: the selected Offeror(s) for this procurement will be required to register with our vendor credentialing service, Symplr, at www.symplr.com within five (5) business days of the effective date of the fully executed contract. The scope of work includes: 1. Prepare the site per OSHA standards for safety prior to commencing work and stocking the material 2. Remove the existing roof, underlayment insulation, flashing down to metal deck, gutters and downspouts 3. Loose lay 2 layers of 2.2" polyiso Insulation per manufacturer's specifications (Note: The 2 layers of 2.2" polyiso is to meet an R-Value of 25 per the current International Energy conservation code) 4. Mechanically fasten a layer of 1/2 " DensDeck or approved equivalent to the metal deck, using the fastening rate per manufacturer's specifications 5. Mechanically attach a 60mil JM Rhinobond TPO membrane with system or approved equivalent, per manufacturer's specifications 6. Flash parapet walls using 1/2 " plywood and adhering to 60mil TPO 7. Flash curbs using 1/2 " plywood and a 60mil TPO membrane and install 24-gauge Galvanized metal counterflashing per manufacturer's specifications 8. Install new 24-gauge prefinished metal at metal edge conditions and strip-in per manufacturer's specifications 9. Flash penetrations using prefabricated pipe boots or commercial grade equivalent and install per manufacturer's specifications 10. Install new 24-gauge prefinished standard color metal coping cap per manufacturer's specifications 11. Install new 24-gauge prefinished standard color metal gutter per manufacturer's specifications 12. Install new 24=gauge prefinished standard color metal downspouts per manufacturer's specifications 13. Install shop fabricated pitch pockets per manufacturer's specifications 14. Existing gas lines to be raised and supported per the City of Dallas Building, Mechanical and Plumbing codes 15. Required piping, paint and materials to bring gas lines up to current codes shall be furnished and installed by contractor 16. Provide a 20-year manufacturer's NDL warranty via email to owner 17.
