This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products and commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Products and Commercial Services, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as an RFQ. All interested companies shall provide quotations for the following: Supplies/Services The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, parts, travel, ICRA Barriers, and qualified personnel to accomplish the tasks outlined in this PWS. Contractor is responsible for all subcontractors required to complete reports. All work shall be performed during normal hours unless otherwise approved by the COR or his/her designee. This is an emergency request to perform boiler plant safety device maintenance, inspection, calibration, and testing, in compliance with VHA Directive 1810 and California s Air Quality Management District (AQMD) requirements. Award will be based upon a comparative evaluation of quotes in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures of FAR 13. Comparative evaluation is the side by side pairwise comparison of quotes based on factors resulting in a Contracting Officer decision for the quote most favorable to the Government. This contract/purchase order will consist of a base year with the possibility of up to four (4) option years. Contractor s pricing should reflect this. The following are the decision factors: Price and past performance. The award will be made to the response most advantageous to the Government. Responses should contain your best terms, conditions.
