The Spring Hill Fire Department is seeking RFPs from qualified vendors for the purpose of refinishing an apparatus bay floor with a hardened, high traffic, and high strength color epoxy finish with anti-slip integration. The location for the project is Fire Station #3 - 4000 Campbell Station Parkway, Spring Hill, TN. Vendor shall engage the project in a minimum of four phases to include; (1) Safety and Surface Preparation where the existing painted floor is stripped to bare concrete using a grinding process with dust capture where existing concrete floor is bare and prepped for color epoxy application; (2) Applying epoxy flooring system to approximately +/- 3315 sq/ft of open bay space along with bright yellow floor striping (+/- 216lf). Base coat will maintain a nominal thickness of 1/8" followed by 0.5lb/sf of sand aggregate. Epoxy grout coating will maintain a nominal thickness of 8-10 mils, followed by a urethane top coating with nominal thickness of 3 mils. Line striping will be 6" wide and have a nominal thickness of 8-10 mils, (3) Provide for entire workplace clean up to include blowing, dusting, sweeping, washing etc.; (4) Provide Warranty coverage for minimum of two (2) years. Entire process should take no longer than 4 working days with floor being drivable by the 4th day.
