The City of Pittsburgh Office of Management and Budget, on behalf of the Department of Public Works, is soliciting services to repair concrete bay floors, bay-to-apron thresholds, aprons, the concrete that encases structural steel beams and girders, as well as stairs & landings in Public Safety facilities. Question Submission Deadline April 24, 2023, 5:00pm Scope Specifics by Station * Delamination & Spalls - All * Cracks - All * Joint Repair, Cleaning, & Sealing - All, including exterior stairwells, sidewalks, sidewalk-to-foundation junctions. * Apron-to-Bay Thresholds (Stabilization or Replacement) - All + replace threshold at Fire Station 7 (See station report and associated project manual.) * Apron - All + replace apron slabs to first joint at Fire Station 7 (See station report and associated project manual.) * Steel Reinforcing Bars (Splice or Replacement) - All + compromised bars at Fire Station 30 and Fire Station 12 * Stairs, Entries, & Landing Slabs - All + entry stairs and landing at Fire Station 12 * Bay Floor Drain Assemblies - Repair or replace as necessary * Traffic Coating - All The structural engineer's report for each station can be found in Attachments. While these reports are thorough and representative of existing conditions, it is the responsibility of the contractor to fieldverify and address ALL conditions noted above and include them in the scope of work for each station. The conditions noted above in station basements will also be included in scope
