The project generally consists of approximately 600 SY of reinforced concrete parking lot, striping, sidewalks and fencing improvements, generally located at the intersection of Hurley Street and FM 156 in the City of Haslet. The City reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids The successful bidder shall (when requested) demonstrate adequate and substantial documented experience in the construction disciplines necessary for constructing the project. Appropriate instructions and bidder experience requirements are described elsewhere in the bound contractual documents. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check of the bidder, or a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid and subject to the conditions provided in the Notice to Bidders. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of opening No interpretations of the meaning of plans, specifications, or other pre-bid documents will be made orally. Every request for such interpretation should be by email to twhelan@belcheff.com or in writing addressed to Belcheff & Associates, Inc., 3575 Lone Star Cir., Ste 124, Fort Worth, TX 76177, and to be given consideration, must be received at least five days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. Any and all such interpretations and any supplemental instructions will be in the form of written addenda to the specifications which, if issued, will be emailed or mailed by certified mail with return receipt requested (if requested by the bidder) to all prospective bidders at the respective address furnished for such purposes, not later than three days prior to the date fixed for opening of bids. It shall be the responsibil-ity of the bidder to follow up with the ENGINEER for any and all clarifications, addenda and interpretations issued for the project. Failure of any bidder to receive any such addendum or interpretation shall not relieve such bidder from any obligation under his bid as submitted. All addenda so issued shall become part of the contract documents
