Site work and paving for a road / highway in Pepper Pike, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Each bid must be made upon the Proposal form provided and must be accompanied with a bid bond for the full amount of the bid in favor of the City of Pepper Pike given by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Ohio, or a certified check or cashier's check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount bid but in no event less than One Hundred Dollars ($100.00). Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Cuyahoga County and the City of Pepper Pike, Ohio, as determined by the Ohio Department of Industrial Relations. The right is reserved to accept any bidder, to reject any or all bids, and to waive informalities should it be deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Pepper Pike to do so. The project consists of Asphalt Resurfacing and Related Items, with Partial and Full Depth Pavement Repairs at Various Locations as directed by the Engineer. The roads to be included in this project are S. Woodland Road and Butterwing Road (mill & fills), and other potential locations as directed by the Engineer. The Engineer will mark the limits of resurfacing for all paving work. The Contractor shall be responsible for restoring all disturbed pavement markings on all of the roadways to be resurfaced, including stop bars, crosswalks, bike lanes, hatched areas and edge lines.
