The Randolph Public Schools (RPS), a PreK-12 educational organization, has four elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school that serves approximately 2,600 students. The project described will be funded by Municipal Funds AARA funding. The Randolph Public Schools is seeking a sports surfacing and installation firm to submit bids for the resurfacing and repairs of basketball and tennis courts. This work will commence as soon as possible. There is no projected design or engineering phase expected for this scope of work. A. Located at 30 Lou Courtney Drive (YOUNG SCHOOL), the work in general will consist of the following. a. Repair/resurface all existing exterior tennis courts. b. All repairs will include complete removal of all existing equipment, old materials, trash and refuse material associated with the work. c. All courts will then be freshly painted and lined up in accordance with approved standards. B. Located at 20 Hurley Drive (JKF School), the work in general will consist of the following. a. Repair/resurface all existing exterior Basketball courts. b. All repairs will include complete removal of all existing equipment, old materials, trash and refuse material associated with the work. c. All courts will then be freshly painted and lined up in accordance with approved standards. Located at 255 High Street (RCMS), the work in general will consist of the following. a. Repair/resurface all existing exterior tennis courts. b. All repairs will include complete removal of all existing equipment, old materials, trash and refuse materials associated with the work. c. All courts will then be freshly painted and lined up in accordance with approved standards. The RPS reserves the right to cancel this IFB, or to accept or reject any or all IFBs, or to waive any informalities in the request for bids if it is in the best interest of the RPS to do so. Furnish labor, materials, and equipment to pulverize existing area to a depth of 6" to 9"; and pave bituminous concrete area comprising approximately 21,000 square feet.
