The Owner reserves the right to have other contractors perform work beyond scope of this work and to place and install equipment as necessary in completed areas of building and to occupy such completed areas prior to substantial completion, provided that such occupancy does not substantially interfere with completion of work. Such placing of equipment and partial occupancy shall not constitute acceptance of work or any part of work. The Owner shall have the right to waive any informality or irregularity in any Bid received. It is the intent of the Owner to award a contract to the single lowest qualified bidder, provided the Bid has been submitted in accordance with the requirements of the Bidding Documents, is judged to be reasonable, and does not exceed the funds available. Work not completed by the completion date provided in the Abatement Schedule will result in Liquidated Damages. $2,500.00 per calendar day will be compiled until the work is complete and accepted by the Owner, the total Liquidated Damages will be deducted from the Contractor's contract amount.
