Interested bidders should read the legal advertisement at the link below and e-mail Michelle Elliott at melliott@riversideoh.gov for a copy of the Signal Maintenance Program Bid Booklet.The Project shall generally consist of traffic signal maintenance, repair and minor construction on an asneeded basis authorized by the City of Riverside. Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be obtained by contacting the City of Riverside's Public Service Administrative Assistant, Michelle Elliott. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered through the designated contact. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Contact. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the Equal Employment Opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123 is required. Domestic steel use requirements as specified in Section 153.011 of the Revised Code apply to this project. Copies of Section 153.011 of the Revised Code can be obtained from any of the offices of the Department of Administrative Services. Only those contractors which are currently pre-qualified in the proper work type by the Ohio Department of Transportation will be eligible to submit bids for the construction of this project. A bidder must possess work types equal to at least 75% of the total amount of the submitted bid price. Bidder must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Montgomery County and the City of Riverside, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Bureau of Wage and Hour Administration, (614) 644-2239.
