No bid will be received unless in writing on the forms furnished, and unless accompanied by bid security in the form of a bid bond, cashiers check, or a certified check made payable to the PVSC in an amount equal to 10% of the amount of the total bid, but not exceeding $20,000, executed by a Surety Company duly authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. The successful Bidder must furnish a 100 percent construction performance bond, and a 100 percent construction payment bond, a maintenance bond, and an environmental maintenance bond with a surety company acceptable to the Owner. Complete instruction for preparing Bids and required bonds are included in the Bidding Documents. Work to be performed under Contract No. B182 includes furnishing all labor, materials, supplies, equipment and other facilities required by the Contract Documents for the cleaning and inspection of the PVSC branch interceptor sewers in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, and Passaic Counties. Work includes, but not limited to, cleaning and inspection of the PVSC branch interceptor sewers, disposal of materials, traffic control measures, etc.
