Scope of Work The selected Contractor(s) shall provide the following services: o Remove existing 33" x 20" tee including attached valves from existing 33" CMLC transmission main south of Summerhill Pump Station in channel north of San Jacinto River. o Install 1 - 36" x 20" DI Tee with 2 - 36" BFV and 1 - 20" BFV on 33" CMLC transmission main. o The installation will take place on dirt access road between Summerhill Pump Station and San Jacinto River o EVMWD will provide all materials to complete installation including 36" x 20" DI Tee, 36" and 20" BFV's and reducers to connect to 33" transmission main. o Contractor shall have on staff a certified, licensed Welder o Excavations restored to original condition In this proposal, the district intends to hire a contractor to perform the work described above. The contractor shall take all necessary measures to protect the work and prevent accidents during the construction. The contractor shall provide and maintain sufficient nightlights, barricades, guards, temporary sidewalks, and danger signals, while implementing necessary safeguards to protect life and property. The contractor shall also protect all excavations, equipment, and materials with barricades, warning signs, and signals; so that the public will not be endangered. Time is of The Essence All work must be started in correspondence with the execution of the contract, or when indicated by a District Representative. Contractor(s) selected should be prepared to supply the personnel to compete the project as requested by the District inside or outside of regular business hours. No businesses shall be affected by the project. Project completion must take place prior to July 1, 2023.
