The City and County of Honolulu is requesting sealed bids for a project known as NPDES Erosional Area Improvements at Meheula Ditch Maintenance Access Road. Estimated Cost: $1,344,200.00 Questions regarding this solicitation shall be directed to Jacqueline Arelliano at bfspurchasing@honolulu.gov. The project is to install best management practices and associated erosion control measures at Meheula Ditch Maintenance Access Road in Mililani, Oahu. The project includes, but is not limited to: clearing and grubbing of project site, demolition and removal of existing trees, installation of polyethylene cellular confinement system, aggregate fill for polyethylene cellular confinement system, reinforced concrete curb, high performance turf reinforcement matting, concrete slab, and miscellaneous restoration work. The Contractor must provide all labor, materials and equipment needed to meet the minimum specifications herein. The project scope consists of the following, but not limited to: A. Installation of erosion and sediment control BMPs and Environmental Pollution Control, as indicated in contract documents. B. Demolish, remove, haul and dispose of trees, as indicated in contract documents. C. Clearing, grubbing, hauling, disposing of unwanted materials, and installation of tree protection zone fences within the project area. D. Installation of polyethylene cellular confinement system, as designated on the site plan. E. Installation of No. 2 course aggregate fill for Polyethylene Cellular Confinement System, as designated on the site plan. F. Installation of reinforced concrete curbs, as designated on the site plan. G. Installation of high performance turf reinforcement mat, as designated on the site plan. H. Installation of 4-inch thick C&C Class "A" concrete slab, as designated on the site plan. I. Miscellaneous restoration work within the project area. Completion- 270 consecutive calendar days
