OVERVIEW A new Cherokee County Traffic, K-9 and Coroner Facility located at 403 Chattin Drive, Canton, GA., 30115 is currently under construction for the Cherokee County Board of Commissioners. The new construction includes two buildings, Building "A" and Building "B". Building "A" is for Cherokee County Sheriff Traffic Enforcement and will consist of standard offices and work stations with an area for 8 dog kennels attached to the Cherokee County K-9 unit. Building "B" is divided between the Cherokee County Forensic Unit to examine vehicles that were involved in traffic incidents. One side is a garage with garage like equipment. The other half of the building is for offices of the Cherokee County Coroner's Office. SCOPE OF WORK The purchase, delivery and complete installation of all cubicles and office furniture. No trash left behind. All trash shall be removed from the site. The contractorshall be responsible to keep the jobsite safe and free of debris each day and at project completion. The contractor shall submit their "Layout Design Plans" configured to fit in each location as per the following: o Cherokee County Sheriff K-9 & Traffic Unit Floorplan 3009_001. A CAD version (.dwg) of the floorplan is available upon request and by signing a release. o Identify the individual items and their proposed locations The Certificate of Occupancy (CO) will be issued on or before Friday 9/29/2023. The work shall be completed by Thursday 10/5/2023. The facility will be available from 7am until 5pm. "Commercial Grade" furniture only will be accepted. Screw, Peg & Glue is not acceptable. Two types of office chairs are requested for review: o Armless chairs for Sheriff's Office personnel o Coroner's office spaces will consider both armless and arm chairs. Pricing shall reflect quantities, unit and extended pricing and include installation. A grand total shall also be provided.
