Renovation of an educational facility in North Charleston, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Base Bid work includes complete removal of existing roof systems down to the deck for canopies 1 and 6 for approximately 12 squares. Roof replacement includes minor deck repairs, rough carpentry, roof insulation, including taper, and a two-ply modified bitumen roof system. All associated sheet metal components and accessories are included. Alternate Number 1 work includes select repairs and an elastomeric roof coating to the Main roof. CONSTRUCTION COST RANGE: $120,000 to $140,000 The successful Contactor will be required to provide Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price. Submit questions in writing to Amanda Matlock of The BEE Group, amandam@thebeegroup.org no later than May 1, 2023, 10 AM. No questions will be answered after this date. All responses will be made in the form of addenda to the bid documents.
