Site work for a mixed-use development in Stanton, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Scope of Work shall consist of clearing and grubbing various areas in preparation for a future road relocation. This project also consists of clearing an existing fence line along the airport property line. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid as a certified check on a solvent bank or a bid bond in the amount of five (5) percent of the total amount of the bid, made payable to the Stanton-Powell County Airport Board. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. The successful bidder will be required to furnish separate performance and payment bonds each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price. The right is reserved, as the Stanton-Powell County Airport Board may require, to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bids received. Goals for minority participation for each trade: 7.0% Goals for female participation in each trade: 6.9% Requests for interpretations shall be made in writing BY E-MAIL ONLY to the Consultant, Hanson Professional Services Inc., Keith Yates, P.E., E-mail: kyates@hanson-inc.com. Due to maintaining the ability to Issue Addenda in a timely manner prior to bidding, NO Inquiries received fewer than seven (7) calendar days prior to the date fixed for opening of bids will be given consideration.
