Construction of water utility upgrades at the Chaparral Wildlife Management Area (WMA) including but not limited to the following items 1. Carizzo Well Improvements: a. Installation of a FRP well house over existing well, concrete slab, installation of sand separator, installation of liquid chlorine disinfection system, piping improvements, and electrical and controls improvements 2. Pump Station Improvements: a. Demolition of the existing CMU pump station building, two (2) concrete ground storage tanks, pressure tanks, pumps, site piping, and fencing. b. Construction of a new pump station generally consisting of two (2) 15,000 gallon ground storage tanks, new CMU pump station building two (2) livestock water pumps and two (2) domestic water pumps and associated piping, valves, pressure tanks, site work, fencing, and electrical and controls. c. Base bid will include manual transfer switch and generator plug in. Automatic transfer switch and diesel generator is included as bid alternate 1. 3. Water Distribution System Improvements: a. Construction of 4,500 linear feet of 2-inch waterline to replace the existing 2-inch waterline from the pump station to the HQ/Visitor Center including connections to existing waterlines, isolation valves, and flush valves. Waterline replace shall be included as bid alternate 2.
