Saving Project...

Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a transportation facility in Lake Ronkonkoma, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; for outdoor lighting for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.

The Town may make such investigations as deemed necessary to determine the ability of the bidder to perform the work. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after being publicly opened and read. In the event bids are rejected or no bids are received, the Department ofPurchasing is authorized to readvertise for bids. Bidders must be licensed by the State of New York. Bids received afterthis time will not be opened, nor considered. All bids must include apprentice documents in a separate envelope. Bids received without the apprenticeship documents will be considered non-responsive and will be rejected. Questions will be welcomed and answered through an addendum. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the rehabilitation ofthe asphalt pavement of Taxiway C, replacement of the taxiway edge lighting and airfield guidance signs with new LED lights/signs with new concrete bases and concrete encased conduit, a new homerun back to the airfield fighting vault and pavement markings and incidental landscaping. All work will be inside the Air Operations Area (AOA). No other forms of payment will be accepted. The fee shall be in the form of a cashier's or certified check made payable to the Town of Islip. No other forms of payment will be accepted. No bid will be accepted by email or facsimile.
