Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The Ardmore Main Street Authority is accepting sealed bids for mobilization, demolition of existing asphalt pavement, concrete sidewalks, etc., of an existing parking lot at 200 West Main. The project consists of: Bidding mobilization, demolition of existing asphalt pavement, concrete sidewalks, lighting, excavation, new electric line installation, new irrigation system installation, aggregate base, concrete walls, brick veneer for concrete walls, stone caps for concrete walls and stairs, concrete pavement, turf and landscaping, and other miscellaneous appurtenances. Each proposal shall be accompanied by an acceptable form of Proposal Guaranty in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the amount of Proposal, as guaranty that if the Proposal is accepted, the Bidder will execute the Contract and furnish the acceptable Performance Bond, Labor & Maintenance Bond, Owner's Protective Liability Policy, and Certificates of Insurance within fifteen (15) days after the award of the contract. The time allowed for completion of this project is 140 working days. Liquidated damages for failure to complete the project within the allotted time or authorized extensions thereof, shall be $350.00 per working day. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in the bidding, for the benefit of the Owner.
