A. The existing building controls system shall remain in use as a stand-alone system. The new Energy Plant Controller and the new front end system shall be a DDC web-based system. Provide hardware such as LAN Gate Routers than can handle a minimum of 1,500 points. Systems shall be expandable without replacement of new router. Integrate new system and incorporate the project files into the SCDC main web control server and verify proper communication from web controller to remote site. B. Automatic Temperature Controls scope includes sequencing of the chillers, (9) hot water boilers, cooling towers, condenser water pumps, primary chilled water pumps, secondary chilled water pumps and hot water pumps. The boilers and primary hot water pumps associated with each boiler are sequenced by an existing Boiler Sequencer. New Energy Plant Controller shall provide an enable/disable signal to the Boiler Sequencer located in the Energy Facility. Sequencing of the boilers shall be based on the hot water supply and hot water return temperature to the to/from the Energy Plant and the outside air temp. Replace existing Chiller No2, with a new water cooled chiller, primary chilled water pumps, secondary chilled water pump, condenser water pumps,cooling tower, piping and automatic temperature controls.
