Description

Site work, paving, environmental remediation, new construction, remodeling and renovation of a mixed-use development in Smithville, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The Smithville School district passed the bond vote on April 4, 2023. Projects outlined in the 2023 bond issue are building a bus transportation and maintenance facility, sidewalk improvements, Horizon Elementary and Smithville Middle School HVAC upgrades, security enhancements in all the buildings, converting middle school athletic fields to synthetic turf and a remodel of the high school gym. Sidewalk improvements will allow students to safely navigate throughout Smithville School District's main campus. As of November 13, 2023, excavation began in June 2023 and was completed before 2023-2024 school year.
