Site work and paving for a civil project in Bellevue, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The Project includes the following Work: The installation of approximately 3800 LF of 2-inch water main, 530 LF of 3-inch water main, 4400 LF of 4-inch water main and 2350 LF of 6-inch water main and water main appurtenances. The project includes the installation of approximately 98 water services and water meters. Also included is steel casing installation, a cast-in-place water meter vault and various surface restoration including HMA, PCC, crushed stone, and topsoil and seeding. A pre-bid conference for the Project will not be held. Work on the project shall commence on or after the date specified in the written "Notice to Proceed" and shall be completed on or before June 30, 2024, in accordance with the General Conditions. Liquidated damages in the amount of $750.00 per day will be assessed for each day that the work shall remain uncompleted after the end of the completion date, with due allowance for extension of contract period due to conditions beyond the control of the Contractor, as approved by the Owner.
