Site work for a transportation facility in Yates Center, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
**As of July 13, 2023, project was awarded to Rockin TN-Fencing & Skid Steer Services, awarded amount is $3,989.20** The City of Yates Center, KS is soliciting bids for building a new fence at the former Yates Center Airport. Must have $1,000,000 liability insurance . The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. Location offence to be replaced: From 9th road in the Southwest corner approximately 140 yards to the North then approximately 101 yards to the East. Description of project: Remove existing fence and clear brush. Replace corner posts (three), brace posts (six) and cross braces (six) with steel pipe. All corners and brace posts must be at least three feet in the ground and be no smaller than four inches in diameter. The fence will need to be four tee posts to one eight-foot steel line post with no more than sixteen foot spacing. Tee posts will be reused if possible. Wire needs to be 12.5-to-13.5-gauge barbed wire; Oklahoma brand is preferred. This will be a six-wire fence. Retie connecting fences to new corners.
