Renovation of a laboratory facility in Tallahassee, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a laboratory facility.
The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS or Department) seeks to obtain competitive bids for the Conner Complex - Laboratory 7 Alterations, located at 3125 Conner Blvd., Tallahassee, FL 32399. Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, equipment and materials to complete the requested laboratory alterations. The Base Bid scope of work shall include, but is not limited to: selective demolition of existing finishes including hazardous material abatement, flooring, suspended acoustical ceilings, casework, HVAC equipment with correlating plumbing and electrical; Installation of new finishes, flooring, suspended acoustical ceiling, paint, casework, plumbing, electrical, mechanical equipment and appurtenances in Room 716 (Fertilizer Sample Processing Room). Six Additive Alternates include exhaust fan / ventilation improvements supporting existing fume hoods, Lab 5 - Room 506 Alterations, and hazardous material abatement. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope/package with the relevant ITB number clearly marked on the outside of the envelope/package.
