REQUEST FOR BIDS a) Bids are requested from experienced firms to remove and reclaim approximately 1,600 gallons of ethylene glycol from the Operations Center HVAC system, as well as approximately 2,000 gallons of surplus ethylene glycol stored in 55 gallon drums on the premises. Scope includes disposal of the storage drums, flushing the system and replenishing the system with polypropylene glycol or approved alternate. b) This project is funded in part by a grant from the Federal Transit Administration, Assistance Listing number 20.507. c) Bids shall be on the basis of total project costs for the project under the following requirements and conditions, which shall be considered an essential part of the Contract Documents. d) The DTA reserves the right to accept and/or refuse any or all Bids, to add or delete work without penalty, in the interest of the DTA. e) Bidder will bear all costs incurred in responding to this RFB. f) Bid prices shall be good for ninety (90) days after the Bid opening.
