Pelham Street - Phase 4 road and municipal improvement from the Town Limits to Spruceside Crescent South. The Town of Pelham is requesting the contracting services of a qualified contractor for the purpose of repairing and replacing of aging underground infrastructure (where required), improving drainage and storm sewer systems, making improvements to the existing road platform (including the complete urbanization of the road cross section), making improvements to the existing roadway lighting, reviewing the requirements for signalized intersections and pedestrian crossings, making improvements to the landscaping features and possible streetscaping opportunities along Pelham Street and providing a roadway cross section that supports all modes of transportation including the safe and reliable movement of pedestrian and cyclists. The age and condition of the infrastructure has prompted the need for replacement. The successful contractor will be responsible for all traffic control, resident notification within the associated construction limits and notification when access will not be available. Full restoration of all disturbed areas will be required in accordance with current Town of Pelham standards. The works are to proceed continuously to the completion and all work shall be completed within one hundred and twenty (120) working days.
