The City of New Smyrna Beach is seeking sealed bids from qualified contractors for the Fuel Farm Rehabilitation project. Background The City serves an area of 41.6 square miles in size and serves a population of approximately 32,400. It is located off of Florida's East Coast, in the County of Volusia, just north of Cape Canaveral with easy access to both Interstate 95 and Interstate 4. The City's fiscal year begins on October 1st and ends on September 30th. Deadline for Written Questions:July 30, 2024, 5:00pm Recommendation to the Commission:September 10, 2024 The Contractor agrees to commence work within Ten (10) CALENDAR DAYS after the date of the Notice to Proceed letter and shall achieve Substantial Completion within Sixty (60) consecutive calendar days thereafter. The Contractor shall have an additional thirty (30) consecutive calendar days from the date of Substantial Completion to achieve Final Completion.
