Sealed Bids for the City of Hackensack FEMA HMGP Hurricane Ida CCTV will be received. The work will include but is not limited to, the cleaning and televising of approximately one hundred twenty one thousand nine hundred and ninety-one linear feet (121,991 LF) of combined sanitary sewer and stormwater conveyance piping and drainage structures within Summit Avenue, Overlook Avenue, Comet Way, Haley Drive, Prospect Avenue, First Street, Beech Street, Atlantic Street, Lee Place, Russel Place, Sussex Street, Lehigh Street, Newman Street, Railroad Avenue, Gamewell Street, Ricardo Place, Lawrence Street, Union Street, Dicarolis Court, John Street, Essex Street, Hudson Street, Bergen County Plaza, Owen Road, Green Street, Kansas Street, Lexington Avenue, King Street, Jersey Place, McKinley Street, Liberty Street, George Street, Elizabeth Street, Hobart Street, Lodi Street, West Street, Porter Street, Cleveland Street, English Street, South State Street, Ackerson Street, Fair Street, Troast Street, Pink Street, Grove Street, Campbell Street, Briscolina Street, South Main Street, Broadway, New Street, Holt Street, Bon Homme Avenue, Jackson Avenue, East Lafayette Street, Marion Street, East Broadway, Van Wettering Place, Meadow Street, and South River, in addition to temporary traffic control, coordination of uniformed police traffic, disposal of removed materials and surface restoration. Pipe diameters may range in size from six (6) inches to one hundred and twenty (120) inches. The Contractor will be responsible to coordinate and obtain all access permits required to occupy Rights-Of-Way, in addition to access coordination with property owners before and after required activities. The Contractor shall be responsible for providing all labor, supervision, trade skills, materials, and equipment required for this Project as described in the Construction Documents. Contract Documents are only available in digital format via email. There is no cost to obtain the Contract Documents. Bids shall be made on the forms provided and made part of the Contract Documents, which SHALL be submitted in triplicate, One Stamped Original, and Two Stamped Copies. A certified check or cashier's check made payable to the order of the City of Hackensack, or a duly executed Bid Bond, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of each Bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00 must be deposited by the Bidder together with a Surety Consent evidencing that they can obtain the required Performance Bond. The Successful Bidder will be required to deliver to the Owner an executed Performance Bond of a responsible indemnity company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. If awarded a Contract, your Company/Firm is required to comply with requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. The submitted Bid packages shall be complete with the Bid description and the name and address of the Bidder marked clearly on the outside of the envelope. Bids must be placed in sealed envelopes and received by mail or hand delivered in person to the City Clerk's Office located at the City of Hackensack, 65 Central Avenue, 3rd Floor, Hackensack, New Jersey 07601 by Friday, May 5, 2023 at 10:00 am. The envelope must also identify the Bid as: City of Hackensack FEMA HMGP Hurricane Ida CCTV. The City of Hackensack reserves the right to consider Bids for sixty (60) days after their receipt. The right is reserved to waive any informalities, to accept Bids which it deems most favorable to the interest of the City to make an award on each item separately or as a whole and to accept any Bid or to reject any or all Proposals in accordance with the Specifications and the Bid forms.
