Renovation of a municipal facility in Fort Worth, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) is accepting Proposals to furnish all labor, materials, insurance, bonding, equipment and supervision required for the renovations/repairs of the emergency egress lighting at the TWC facility located at 301 W 13th St., Fort Worth, TX 76102. Project will include asbestos containing materials (ACM) abatement of sheetrock walls, texture around exterior soffit lights and patching of sheetrock to seal wall penetrations. All abatement and associated fees as outlined in the abatement specifications will be the responsibility of the Prime Contractor. TWC will provide asbestos abatement oversight by a licensed asbestos consultant. All facilities will remain occupied during the upgrades. Project information can be found in the Construction Drawings and Project Manual titled "Texas Workforce Commission Ft. Worth Misc. Renovations" date and abatement specification manual titled "Texas Workforce Commission Ft Worth Building Egress Lighting/Mechanical Rooms" as posted on ESBD Questions & Answers template, no later than June 15, 2023, at 5:00 PM CT. TWC will post all Questions & Answers and, if appropriate, an Amended RFP to the Electronic State Business Daily (ESBD) by the estimated date of July 3, 2023 at 5:00 PM CT. All Proposals that have a minimum dollar value of $25,000.00 or more shall require a letter from an approved Bonding Company indicating that the Respondent has bonding capacity equaling or exceeding the Maximum Possible Award) of the Proposal submitted and shall timely issue the applicable Payment and/or Performance Bonds in the full amount of the awarded agreement. This letter must be submitted as part of bid package.
