Installation of storm drainage, concrete walks, asphalt paving including landings at base of ramps, fencing, grading, base rock, connection of water and sewer, and signage to 3 portable classrooms. The Project consists of performing labor and supplying all materials for all the work delineated on the civil and architectural drawings and specifications. This includes but is not limited to the installation of storm drainage, concrete walks, asphalt paving including landings at base of ramps, fencing, grading, base rock, connection of water and sewer to stub outs at rear of building, and signage to 3 portable classrooms. Supply and installation of the portable classroom buildings, ramps, sinks and associated interior plumbing, cabinets, window coverings, fire extinguishers and work shown on the electrical drawings is not part of the scope of this project. As security for its Bid, each Bidder shall provide with its Bid form : o a bid bond issued by an admitted surety insurer on the form provided by the District, o cash, or o a cashier's check or a certified check, drawn to the order of the Hayward Unified School District, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price. This bid security shall be a guarantee that the Bidder shall, within seven (7) calendar days after the date of the Notice of Award, enter into a contract with the District for the performance of the services as stipulated in the bid. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond if it is awarded the contract for the Project.
