Renovation of a water / sewer project in Athens, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Work included in this Contract generally consists of the construction of approximately 2,184 LF of 6-inch HDPE force main and required appurtenances. Also included in the project is the construction of a new lift station and valve vault. For the construction of the: Lower Swan Creek Sowell Lift Station A general summary of the work items is included below: Construction of a 350 GPM sanitary sewerage lift station and installation of approximately 3,300 linear feet of 6-inch diameter HDPE force main. Bidders can visit the project site individually following the meeting. Any required answers or responses will be issued by Addendum. The work of constructing the project will be let under one Contract if an award should be made, and the Owner reserves the right to select the Bid considered by the Owner to be in the best interest of the Owner. Drawings and specifications may be examined at the office of the Engineer and at the Athens Utilities office.
