Broome DDSOO is seeking a vendor to perform an asbestos abatement at 2315 Donna Dr in Vestal NY 13850. The tile and mastic in the basement of the property are positive for asbestos and this project is for the removal and disposal of all ACM material. A site visit is mandatory to bid on this project and detailed at the end of the general requirements. The abatement contractor hired to complete abatement must be Licensed with the New York State Department of Labor, comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and be capable of performing the work specified in this scope. ACM Survey showing materials, percentages, and locations shall be attached. Scope of Work: Work shall be the removal and disposal of asbestos containing flooring and mastic at the site by a competent, trained, knowledgeable, and qualified contractor in the techniques of asbestos abatement. Contractor shall conduct abatement activities in accordance with the following mandatory sequence: Install critical barriers Establish negative pressure Construct the decontamination area Pre-clean surfaces Cover fixed objects Construct the containment Conduct abatement Conduct final visual inspection Wait for final clearance air monitoring (Done by others). Conduct the tear down. All work must be completed according to all applicable codes, laws, and regulations Job will not be considered complete until the job is verified and accepted by Plant Superintendent of designated supervisor.
