Reference Number : 1717256 The purpose of this notice is to inform potential suppliers that the City of Laval wishes to identify proposed equipment suppliers for the replacement of the dual electric-drive (diesel) motor pumps located at its drinking water production plant (Chomedey). Background: As part of an effort to improve the reliability and robustness of drinking water distribution to the water system, and considering the criticality level of high-pressure equipment, the City of Laval wishes to replace obsolete motor pumps to pump water distribution at the Chomedey drinking water production station. The general mechanical condition of the pumps is adequate; However, some parts (bowls, right-angle gear, diesel engine and electric motor) are outdated. The number of motor pumps to be replaced is: four (4). The purpose of this request for information is to help the City determine the interest of manufacturers in bidding on this contract and provide the equipment described in the paragraph "Purpose of the contract concerned" of this document, as well as to identify the tender parameters that will optimize healthy market competition. This request for information contains a table with which respondents must submit their responses.
