Each proponent will be permitted to perform a site visit, at the Millbrook and Peterborough locations, and collect a sample of the material to be tested for bench scale testing for the Peterborough site. Alternately, bench scale testing can be performed at the Peterborough WWTP, 425 Kennedy Rd., Peterborough. At the site visit proponents will be able to look at the wastewater facilities including current chemical dosing site, chemical off loading areas and storage facilities. Questions will not be answered at the site visit. As per Section 1.2, all questions should be submitted through bids&tenders. Site visit and bench scale testing will be by appointment only and will be completed between May 8 and May 12, 2023. Arrangements can be made with the Laboratory and Water Services Manager by email kthomas@peterborough.ca before May 1, 2023. Proponents requiring a second sample for further bench scale testing can make arrangements to pick up a second sample at the WWTP between May 15 and May 19, 2023. Arrangements must be made, at least 48 hours in advance of pick up, with the Laboratory and Water Services Manager by email kthomas@peterborough.ca.
