Site work and new construction of a stadium in Kearney, Nebraska. Design plans call for the construction of a stadium; and for site work for a stadium.
Facility is approximately 210,000 square feet and includes a gymnasium with eight basketball courts, twelve volleyball courts and seating for 3,000, a turf field suitable for various sports, four pickleball courts, 300+ meter running/walking track, lobby, offices, multiple restrooms, shower rooms, various supports spaces, and large parking lot. STATUS OF PROJECT: Bid Package 1 was received, evaluated, and contracts awarded by MCL for elevator, mechanical equipment, electrical main switch board, earthwork and utilities. RDG is finishing Bid Package 2 for parking lot, foundation, and site. Staff is receiving quotes for various soft cost items including scoreboards, divider curtains, and basketball supports.
