Saving Project...

Demolition, site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in McPherson, Kansas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

A. Major work items for the project include the following: 1. Abandon the existing lift station as indicated. 2. Install two (2) submersible wastewater pumps, complete with stainless steel pipe guiderails, in a new precast concrete manhole wet well. The pumps shall be furnished with a control panel that will be installed within the on-site control building. 3. Install cast-in-place concrete washdown area adjacent to the precast concrete manhole wet well. 4. Furnish and install a precast concrete manhole valve vault. 5. Furnish and install a prefabricated fiberglass building to house the lift station control panel. 6. Relocate the telemetry system equipment to the new prefabricated fiberglass building. 7. Install a new 8-inch-diameter DIP force main and connect to existing force main location as shown on Contract Documents. 8. Install new 8-inch-diameter PVC gravity sewer lines from two (2) proposed precast manholes to the new precast concrete manhole wet well. 9. Provide new water supply line for proposed lift station property. 10. Provide seeding and site restoration after new lift station has been installed on the existing site.
