Work on the project includes, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and incidentals necessary for, site grading, asphalt paving, storm drain, concrete curb, gutter, sidewalk, light fixtures, traffic control and all other work included on the plans for the above mentioned project. Bids are required for the entire work described herein. Sixty (60) working days will be allowed for completion of all work under the contract. Pursuant to Section 1773 of the Labor Code, City of Riverbank has ascertained the general prevailing rate of wages in the locality in which the work is to be performed to be as listed in the current general wage determination made by the Director of Industrial Relations pursuant to California Labor Code Part 7, Division 2, Chapter 1, Article 2, Section 1770, 1773, 1773.1, to which referenced is hereby made and copies of which are on file in the City of Riverbank office. A payment bond prepared and executed in accordance with California Civil Code Sections 3247 and 3248 and a bond for faithful performance of the contract will be required of the Contractor who is awarded the contract. For any moneys earned by the Contractor and withheld by the City of Riverbank to ensure the performance of the contract, the Contractor may, at his request and expense, substitute securities equivalent to the amount withheld in the form and manner and subject to the conditions provided in the Public Contract Code, Section 22300. All contractors and subcontractors who bid or work on the City of Riverbank's Projects are required to have a current license and be listed with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) in accordance with Senate Bill 854, and are subject to verification through the Contractors State Licensing Board and DIR.
