Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Detroit, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; road / highway; and road / highway.

The project is to reconstruct approximately 1.4 miles of the internal road and adjacent parking areas within Eliza Howell Park in Detroit. The work consists of 35,740 square yards of pavement removal and constructing 17880 square yards of 6' Aggregate Base, 14460 square yards of 9" aggregate base, 2765 tons of 3" thick 3EL HMA and 1840 tons of 2" thick 4EL HMA, 1460 tons 4" thick 4EL, two lifts HMA Approach Modified and 3498 feet of curb and gutter for new road pavement, 1440 tons 4" 4EL two lifts HMA for Shared Use Path, 72 feet of HMA Speed Hump, 914 square feet of HMA Speed Table, 10,932 cubic yards earth excavation modified, new storm structures and sewer pipe, seeding, pavement markings and other related work listed in the proposal. Work is to be completed in accordance with the City of Detroit's Standard Specifications, Supplemental Specifications and Special Provisions included within the proposal. Deadline for Questions (EST) (No Questions entertained past the deadline) 4/24/23 10:00 AM Questions pertaining to this request for quotations must be submitted via Oracle. The City of Detroit expressly reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any non-conformity, re-advertise for proposals, to withhold the award for any reason the City determines and/or to take any other appropriate action that is in the best interest of the City.
