Lumpkin County is seeking proposals from qualified vendors possessing a current State of Georgia backflow license to test the Countys current backflow preventors, to install RPZ valves in 2 locations and install backflow preventors in 12 locations in order to comply with the City of Dahlonega ordinance enacted October 2022 by order of the Georgia Environmental Protection Division. We have 11 buildings that currently have back flow preventors that will need to be tested. We have two buildings (Detention and Health Dept.) that will need RPZ valves installed. There are 12 additional buildings that will need back flow preventors installed and certified. EXHIBIT A is the required Test and Maintenance form for the City of Dahlonega that will need to be used when testing for Lumpkin County. Bid Bonds Not required Performance and Payment Bonds Not required No response to inquiries, other than written, will be binding upon the County. Lumpkin County reserves the right to issue written addenda to any inquiries that alter the scope of the RFP. Addenda shall be posted to the county no later than 5:00 PM, May 17, 2023. A signed copy of any addenda shall accompany submitted proposals. Contractors are advised to check the website for addenda before submitting their proposals.
