The Lumpkin County Board of Commissioners is seeking a qualified firm to provide turf management services on multiple county properties listed in the RFP document. The successful firm should be able to provide all requested services and should propose a regimen specifically designed for sod to prevent crab grass, weeds, exotic and invasive pest plants, undesired vegetation and other noxious weeds. No response to inquiries, other than written, will be binding upon the County. Lumpkin County reserves the right to issue written addenda to any inquiries that alter the scope of the RFP. Addenda shall be posted to the county no later than 5:00 PM, May 3, 2023. A signed copy of any addenda shall accompany submitted proposals. Contractors are advised to check the website for addenda before submitting their proposals. Contract Term :The initial contract term between the County and the contractor shall be from June 1, 2023 to May 31, 2024 and will be eligible for up to three (3) annual renewals. Lumpkin County reserves the right to terminate the contract, with 30 days written notice, for any violations in the terms of this agreement or unreconciled issues arising as a result of this agreement. Vendor agrees to provide 30 days written notice and complete any ongoing activities if Vendor chooses to opt out of an agreement with the County.
