Renovation of a water / sewer project in Festus, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Jefferson County Water Authority is accepting bids to provide all material, equipment, and labor for the repair of the grout seal connecting the tank wall to the footing, then prepare surface area and paint one 400,000-gallon potable water storage tank (exterior only). Application of a TNEMEC paint specifically designed for potable water systems is required, and the color scheme must be approved by the JCWA. All tank openings such as manways, vents, Etc., and access to mounted equipment and hardware must remain unobstructed. It is mandatory that potential bidders conduct an on-site visit to determine the best method for surface preparation and to calculate the surface area to be painted. Please contact the Plant Manager or Chief Operator at 636-933-0106 to schedule the site visit. The Jefferson County Water Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informality and award the bid to the party who best meets the needs of the organization. As of August 28, 2023, project was awarded, start date is within the next 4-6 weeks and the contract time on the project is for 310 working days.
