Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Hempstead, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Resurfacing of various Town of Hempstead maintained roadways by issued work orders. Improvements to generally include: Milling of existing roadway pavement. New asphalt overlay. Spot curb, driveway apron and valley gutter replacement A.O.B.E. to remediate any existing ponding of surface drainage. The Town of Hempstead reserves the right to renew the Contract for an additional year. The anticipated funding for the Contract is $7,500,000 per year. All bonds and insurances shall reflect this amount. Contractors and subcontractors shall have in place apprenticeship training agreements with a Long Island region (Nassau-Suffolk) based program appropriate for the type and scope of work to be performed. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Contract term: 365 Calendar Days County(ies): Nassau Location: Unincorporated areas within Town of Hempstead Business entities awarded an identical or substantially similar procurement contract within the past five years: Available on Request.
