As of June 22, 2023, project was awarded to Fire Training Structures, LLC but awarded amount is not available. The City will contract with a separate Nevada licensed contractor to perform the foundation work and permitting necessary for installation at the site. The City of Henderson, Nevada, ("City") is soliciting Proposals from qualified firms ("Proposer") to design, fabricate, furnish, and install a Class A Burn Building ("Training Facility") to be used for fire training. The Training Facility shall be constructed from International Organization for Standardization (ISO) containers (QTY 3 - 40ft L x 8ft W x 8.5ft H units as the first story and QTY 2 - 40ft L x 8ft W x 8.5ft H units as the second story). All containers must be new and free from defect and furnished in compliance with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1402 2019. Delivery Location: Fire Training Center - 401 Parkson Road, Henderson, Nevada 89011 1. The Training Facility shall be two-stories and be constructed from International Organization for Standardization (ISO) containers (QTY 3 - 40ft L x 8ft W x 8.5ft H units at the first story and QTY 2 - 40ft L x 8ft W x 8.5ft H units at the second story). 2. The Live-Fire Component of the Training Facility shall be a fully insulated secondary structure within the container units. Four (4) designated areas shall be designed specifically for repeated Class "A" fueled training (two (2) locations at the first story and two (2) at the second story). 3. Include a pitched roof prop for vertical ventilation training purposes. 4. Include multiple points of egress via personnel doors and include windows for differing training scenarios. 5. Include interior and exterior stairs to support various training scenarios. 6. Include a 4' x 8' Wall Breach Simulator designed to hold 2" x 4" wood studs and drywall. 7. Include an SCBA Reconfigurable Maze System allowing the interior floor space to be reconfigured to support various interior fire attack scenarios (maze system located in all nonburn units). 8. Include an 8ft W x 20ft L galvanized bar grating rooftop (no substitutes) at the first story and OSHA Compliant Galvanized Guard Railing. 9. Include (2) Third-Party Tested and Certified OSHA Compliant Anchors located as specified by the City (certification to be provided at time of delivery). 10. Include a full height standpipe system with a Siamese FDC connection at ground level, hose connections at all story-levels, and sprinkler system. 11. Include an option for a forced entry and cutting door system for Halligan, sledge, and k-saw training. 12. Include an option for a garage door cutting prop. 13. Include an option for an 8ft W Galvanized Bar Grating (no substitutes) Catwalk System located at the second story with OSHA Compliant Galvanized Guard Railing (pricing shall be provided for a 40ft L section and an additional 20ft L section) 14. The facility shall be painted City's choice of color. 15.
